Realistic models of urban area projects can be extremely useful in the city and regional planning process. FPK Engineering ltd. Takes three-dimensional data, using conventional or photogrammetric measuring techniques, and models it in the desired perspectives. Data supplied by architects or planners supplements the model, whereby the different planning scenarios can then be sketched. The integration of planned development, into existing, often heritage-protected built-up areas, can therefore be optimally completed. This technique is a valuable planning instrument for both the decision makers, the investors, and can also be used for public relations purposes The example of Berlin Adlershof clearly demonstrates the impressive results of this work.
